My Fair Lady will be performed at the leading Sheffield theatre, The Lyceum and will take place from November 14th to the 18th.

The romantic comedy was opened on Broadway in 1956 which saw Julie Andrews star as Eliza Doolittle and featured songs such as Wouldn’t It Be Loverly and The Street You Live.
Director Mark Harris has said that he wants his version of the musical to be a new production.
“We want the audience to enjoy our interpretation, not just a copy of something they’ve seen before.”
My Fair Lady is about a Cockney working class girl who takes elocution lessons to help improve her job prospects and ends up becoming a cultured member of high society.
