Emmaus Sheffield, is in desperate need of donations to fulfil customer demand after an unexpected sales boom.

The charity has been working within the community to help homeless men and women for over 18 years. Through social programmes they provide work and aid the individuals involved to become self-supporting.

One of the charity's main fundraising schemes is a second hand and vintage store based at Sipelia Works close to the city's Canal Basin.

The recent Sheffield Waterways Festival saw more people than ever visiting the store and as a result "it was one of the most successful weekends ever" according to Deputy Manager Charley Fedorenko.

"As ever though, when there is a sales boom, it is immediately followed by a need for fresh stock."

The Emmaus store will be happy to take the majority of items. From pieces of furniture (with fire labels attached) to DVDs and books. They also offer a collection service for any larger items.
