It's your first night out in Sheffield and obviously you want to make the most of it. So here is our step by step guide that if you follow correctly will leave you..well...drunk.

1. Pre-drinking is vital. Nip to your local Tesco or corner shop and load up on that knock off vodka. Sure it tastes like cleaning products but it warms you up, so you're ready to face the bitterness of Sheffield weather.

2. Jump in that taxi and head to West Street. (We also recommend asking the taxi driver if "they've been busy tonight?" They love that one.)

3. When you arrive you'll realise you're in cheap drinks heaven.

West Street Live

Refresher Cocktails for £2.50 and yes they taste just like the sweet.

Beast Bombs for £1.50 and at only 66.6% why wouldn't you buy 3?!

Coco Pop Shot for £1.50

Skittle bomb for £2.50

Wine for just £4! (Not sure what's actually in the bottle though.)

Tiger Works

Trebles for £2.50

The £5 Round which includes a spirit mixer, a bottle of VK, a Jager Bomb and a shot of your choice.

From experience, DO NOT FALL DOWN THE STAIRS ON YOUR WAY TO THE TOILET - RIP DIGNITY.

Bierkeller

Steins for £4

A cocktail in a stein for £6.95

But please while you're in there, try not to fall of the benches.

Wick At Both Ends

For those of you who are slightly more classy, Wick offers a more relaxed experience. It isn't as cheap as its neighbours but the cocktails are divine!

4. Once you've exhausted the pubs on West Street you then have two choices.

You can either hit one of Sheffields clubs ie. Corp, Code, Tank or Plug and dance the night away.

OR you can fulfil the cravings you've been having all night in one of the many kebab shops (we recommend Istanbul!)

5. If you decided to have the kebab you can now go home and pass out fully satisfied or the hard-core of you can head straight back out again.
