“That day will be one of the most memorable days of my life” – Sheffield Hallam graduates 2017

Another year has passed and the class of 2017 at Sheffield Hallam University have officially graduated.
Whether students go on to study a post graduate degree, or decide to start looking for a full time job, there are endless possibilities for them.
Zoe Haywood, 21 graduated from Sheffield Hallam this year after studying her undergraduate degree in Education. She has said that her time at university has given her the best possibilities.

“I felt like I was always pushed to achieve my best and I’m very happy with the outcome of my degree. It has given me lots of experience which has opened many opportunities for me in the future.
Sheffield Hallam University has received student satisfaction, with 85% of students agreed that they were happy with their courses.
After spending three years in a new city which has been your second home, some people can’t wait to leave. And others simply want to stay and will find employment were they are.
Zoe is now starting her PGCE in Primary Education and has decided to stay back at home, while travelling to Sheffield Hallam for her studies.
“I didn’t want to live in Sheffield during my PGCE because sometimes school placements can lead to job opportunities and I want to stay in my home town and look for a job here.”
